Ethan has been saying the funniest things. I have a new "Ethanism" every day. I can't wait to hear what he will come up with next. Here are a few of my favorite:

-Ryan, Ethan, Holland and me were in the family room playing games. Ryan & Holland went to the other room and Ethan turns to me and says, "Well, it looks like it is just the two of us."

- Ethan likes to sleep in. Some mornings he sleeps in as late as 10:30. This morning he comes into the kitchen after we have all had breakfast and says, "Sorry, I'm late."

- When Ethan opens a door for me I always tell him what a gentleman he is. In our garage we have a rock that keeps the door open. Ethan told me the rock is a gentleman.

- One of Ethan's favorite movies is Bambi. He has watched it 20 maybe 30 times. He told me the other day that he does not want to hunt deer, he wants to train deer.

6 Months Old

This little beauty makes the whole family smile. She is constantly smiling and socializing with whomever she comes in contact. We love this little one. We love that she loves binkies. She sleeps with at least 6 of them every night.

This pretty thing is so sweet. She loves, I mean LOVES her older brother. No one can get her to laugh like him. She likes to dance. Most days we find her sitting on the floor bouncing around. We can't get enough of her chubby cheeks. Couldn't you just eat them?

Life is pure chaos these days. But I think I like it.

I am no longer a working mom...but a stay at home mom. Let me tell you, it is so hard to be a working mom. I am not sure why I did it so long. I love staying home with my 4 kids. I don't shower everyday (yuck) and sometimes forget to brush my teeth (double yuck). But I get to be home with my 4 favorite people. I am happy (and a little tired).

Holland is our little ballerina girl. She usually prances around in her tutu and ballet shoes. Even though she is a head taller then the other girls in her class, she is a perfect ballerina.

Holland and Ethan turned 5!!! We celebrated 3 times...once with family in Utah, once on their REAL birthday, and at last with their friends.

The friend party was a big deal. Ethan had a "train" party and Holland had a "unicorn" party. The best part was watching the kids try to break open 2 pinatas. Ethan's face is classic (see photo below). H & E felt really special that day. It was lots of fun!

This year we spent the 4th doing what we usually do. Parade in Winnetka, Races, and Glencoe Fireworks at the beach. This year the Thatchers joined us. It was fun for all.

The most memorable part--The little girls first 4th of July. Don't they look sweet in their polka dot outfits? In addition, Tina and I ran in the Winnetka Races. I took last place, I think. It was a sad sight. I ran the 65 yard dash in like 5 minutes. That is how out of shape I am. Ryan got it all on videotape too.

All in all it was a great day!!!

Holland is our little artist. She likes to draw ALL the time. She is quite good too! Recently she has been found drawing on chairs and tables. Argh! So, I to her the next time she draws on anything other than paper, she will lose her crayons.

Well, sure enough I found her drawing on her baby doll. I told her I am taking her crayons and markers away for the day. And this was her response... "If you take them away, I can't be an artist anymore!"

Weekend in Wisconsin

We headed to Wisconsin this past weekend for the Coldplay concert and some family time with our favorite friends. The house was in Whitewater on 12 acres. The kids enjoyed jumping on the tramp, swinging, bike riding, hiking, picking flowers, fishing. It was a full and fun weekend.

The coldplay concert was amazing! I love all of their songs...the best part was with the band playing about 3 feet from me. I could almost touch Chris. I have to admit, I was hoping to see Gwenyth, Apple, and Moses...you know all the Martins. Oh well, maybe next time.

Dad came to visit us this weekend. The twins are following his every move. The poor guy can't even finish a meal because H and E just want to play, play, play. We are having a fabulous time. We asked Ethan who is best friend is and he said, "Grandpa".

We had a great Saturday -- We headed to Chicago (Ann Sather) for brunch. We filled up on Cinnamon rolls, Swedish pancakes, and omelettes. We saw Jersey Boys at the Bank of America Theater while Ryan took the kids to Lincoln Park Zoo. Chicago pizza and root beer for dinner. It was a great day!

We wish Grandpa could visit us more often~

These boys really love each other. Ryan has the perfect little boy. Ethan will sit on Ryan's lap for hours and watch golf, tennis, football, soccer, hockey -- you name the sport and Ethan is there to sit with his daddy. For a few weeks now, Ethan has wanted to go fishing. Ryan picked up a few rods for the twins, and we ventured out to a little fishing spot near our house. Holland and I were on a little walk and I came back to see my boys like the photo above.

Back in May, Ryan took Ethan to a Cubbies game. We had been talking to Ethan about it for weeks. He was REALLY pumped up. Before the boys left, Ethan was all smiles. He knew he was going to do something special. They took the train to the game and on the way home, they got ice cream. It was probably the best day of Ethan's life. Days following the game, I would hearing Ethan singing. "Go, Cubbies, Go". He continues to pray for the Cubbies almost everyday. I love it!

It was another great 4th of July. This year all of the Ray ran in the Winnetka 75 yard dash. Ethan and Holland ran better than this year. Rachel took 3rd place (out of 4 girls...ha!) and Ryan looked hot while running. We had Kathy with us which made it even better. We love 4th of July in Chicago! It is by far my favorite holiday to celebrate here.

Holland and I were talking about horsies, nail polish, and babies--you know, the important stuff to a 3 year old. She loves anything that is a baby. Baby squirrels, baby ants, baby birds. She turned to me and said, "Mommy, I want a baby. Let's call the doctor for a baby."

I sat there a little stunned. She has no idea how true that is for us. She must have known we recently called our IVF doctor. And we start the drugs, the egg stimulation, and shots this August. Wish us luck!

Yesterday morning Ryan's car broke down on the way to work. I jumped out of bed rushing to get ready. In the meantime, Ryan went to wake up the kids and get them ready and in the car. They were both asleep, but as soon as Ryan opened the curtains and blinds Ethan said, "Are you waking me up?"

I guess he knows the drill. Funny kid.

p.s. Ryan's car has been towed to the shop (by me) and he got to work in time. Me, on the other hand, missed boot camp. Argh!

Village for the Dutch

This is one of our stops during Tulip Time "Dutch Villiage". We stock up on droppies and snoopies (for snoopy sandwiches). I am not into the salty licorice, so I stick to the ones covered in sugar. While in Holland, I made sure everyone knew Ryan's mom - Barbara is 100% dutch. I was hoping we would get something free out of it at dinner. But the 100% German waitress was not amused.

I did learn some swear words in dutch. So that is a plus. (Apparently, that is all Barbara knows)

After the race we spent the rest of the morning at the zoo. I think the kids loved the giraffes and the monkeys the best. It was a great day!

My friend shared this Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe with me. They are perfecto! And are my very, very favorite!!!!

Mix together :

2/3 c shortening

2/3 c butter

1 c sugar

1 c brown sugar

2 eggs

Add the following:

2 t vanilla

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

3 cups flour

12 oz choc chips

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.

This kid cracks me up. He comes up with some of the funniest one liners. While in Michigan, he came running down stairs and said "Here is me!!" He said it with so much enthusiasm I could not correct him. In fact he has a couple words that I never correct because they are so sweet to me.

For "airplane" he says "airclane"

For "very" he says "bery".

If he really wants to make his point he will say "bery, bery, bery". I love it! And my absolute favorite thing he said in Michigan, " You guys better not be bery sleeping"...TRANSLATION: "Grandma & Haili, you better not be sleeping right now".

She's a collector

I did not want to forget about this little quirk of Holland's. She loves to collect things. She picks up stuff everywhere too. Just today I found her holding a petal, a button, a sticker, and a rock. Where did she find them? I have no idea. The house, the car, the gym, the park? She will hold stuff like that all day long.

The best day of collecting was the day I went to clean the car. I told the kids to sit on the curb while I vacuumed the car. Well, unbeknownst to me Holland was picking up lots of crap during my cleaning frenzy. You can see most of the items in the picture above. It was hilarious to find her stash. And she was SO proud. I have a feeling this little girl may love a good garage sale or two.

Mother's Day in Michigan

We spent Mother's Day in Holland, Michigan. We soaked up all the wooden shoes and tulips Holland has to offer during Tulip Time. Grandma Brabra (as Holland would say) and Haili boo joined us. It was a blast! Since this was our second year enjoying the festivities, Ryan managed to find a little old house on the lake. It was the best. More photos and stories to come!

My Idol

I have been watching American Idol since the very beginning. This is the first time I have EVER done that. My kids love it, Ryan loves it, it has become a little "family time". I heart these two guys right now. I have liked Adam from way back when. Kris took me a little longer to love. BUT, his guitar and piano playing are heart melting! I think Kris is officially my number one...I have purchased more of his songs on iTunes then any other artist on AI. Go Kris!

Morning Glory Muffins

I made these muffins for a church activity and I fell in love after the first bite. Well, I actually ate 3 or 4. So what? They have wheat germ and oat bran. Can't have enough of that stuff, right? They are super healthy and tasty!
¾ cup sugar
2 cups flour
¼ cup miller’s bran
¼ cup rolled oats
2 Tbs. wheat germ
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt ¾ cup flaked, unsweetened coconut
1c. dark raisins
2c. grated carrots
1 apple grated
¾ cup chopped walnuts
3 eggs beaten
1c. vegetable oil
1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
sugar

In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, bran, oats, wheat germ, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix coconut, raisins, carrots, apple, and nuts. Add to dry ingredients. In a small bowl, beat together eggs, oil and vanilla. Add to dry mixture and stir just until blended.
Fill greased muffin tins ¾ full. Sprinkle tops with sugar to create a glaze. Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Yields 18-20 muffins.*

* I usually will use the mini muffin tins. They are a great snack size for my kids.

Choo Choo Cafe

I have got to catch up! I have not been blogging nearly as much as I want to these days. It seems my days are filling up fast. We have been up to lots of fun, so I must share and journal these little moments.

In April, we met some friends at the "Railroad Junction". It was a really cool place. The only photo I managed to get of the kids is this one if Ethan waiting for the train to deliver his food. I think the rest were of their backs. Oh well.

The kids fondly call it the Choo Choo Cafe. And without fail for the past 6 weeks since going, Ethan prays for the Choo Choo Cafe. Do you think he may want to return?

28 hours in Phoenix

I spend about a day in Phoenix and I was able to see my BFF, Kendee. I have not seen her for about a year. I really miss hanging out with her...

We spent most of the morning doing what we do best...EATING! I have never had so much fun in one sitting.

I woke up to nice weather and this view for a week....

I hung out with this hunka hunka burnin' love for a WHOLE week...no kids...no school...no work!

We drove 3 hours to get to Puerto Penasco, Mexico. The drive was interesting. I loved driving through this preserve. Cactus all over the place!

We played canasta caliente at the Mayan. This was after the boys golfed and the girls had massages and layed out. The favorite drink of the trip was the Strawberry Coloda. Yum!

We ate here a couple times. Cheap food and fantastic salsa.

Shopping at the Old Port. I didn't think we got any great deals. Most of the shops will not negotiate...banditos!

p.s. They had Thrifty Ice Cream in Mexico. I love that stuff. I was able to get a scoop of chocolate malted crunch.

My little girl went to her first princess birthday party last month. We spent the morning curling her hair, painting her nails, and everything all girly. She looked adorable! But, I have to say she was feeling pretty special because at one point she snapped at Ethan and said, "Ethan, I'm going to a princess party!!!" It wasn't so much what she said, but it was the tone she took. I think both Ryan and I rolled our eyes at our little drama queen. Fast forward ten years and we are in BIG trouble.

Summer 2006

I got a pretty cool gift for Valentine's Day. I realize it was over a month ago, but every time I think about it, it makes me smile. I have to brag for just a moment. Ryan got tickets to see Coldplay this summer. Not only am I happy to go see a concert this summer, the tickets are on the anniversary of our first date. And our first date was to a Howard Johnson concert 10 years ago! It was a pretty cool date and I remember falling for him immediately. I am definitely married to a romantic. I am glad he remembered that date, because I never can.

Here are the three things that have been keeping me sane during this cold month of January...

1. Exercise TV - Comcast On Demand

I especially like Jillian Michaels, Bigger Loser with Bob, and most of the A List body workouts.

2. Fruit Smoothies

My sister introduced these to me. They taste good and are very healthy for you! It inlcudes a fruit, veggie, and dairy serving just in one drink. And if you are doing weight watchers, they only count for 4 points. It totally fills you up too! Here is the recipe:

1 cup frozen berries (i buy the BIG bag from costco)

1 light yoplait yogurt (any flavor)

1/2 cup apple juice

1/2 cup water

2 1/2 cups of spinach (BIG bag of fresh spinach from costco)

Mix all on a blender and DRINK!

3. Girl's Night Out

Every woman needs to have some time away with their girlfriends. I am lucky to have so many fun girls to hang out with from church and in my neighborhood.

Holland & Horses

My little bug (our nickname for Holland) loves horses. I mean REALLY loves them. She will make the cutest, highest pitched, ear piercing horse noise. It is the funniest thing you have ever heard. She hardly ever plays with her horses with out making these loud neighs. If you are lucky she will gallop around the house pretending to be a horse on her hind legs with her hands motioning circling about in front of her. The other morning she woke up early and wanted to go play with her toys. I decided to stay in bed and catch some more ZZZZs. Next thing I know, she has all of her horses on the side of my bed, right next to my face and she is whispering her horsie noises. I guess she wanted to play and be next to me too.

Heat Wave

Today it was 34 degrees and sunny. Tomorrow is suppose to be 36 degrees and sunny. I was telling Ryan how excited I was about the warm weather...he said, "Oh yeah, we are having a heat wave!"

Whatever, it is much warmer than -27 (with the wind chill) like it was last week!

Hey Rachie, Its Your Birthday!

I turned 32 this year. It was a fabulous birthday too! First, my sister, Amber came to visit me. It was a total surprise too. This is how it went....Ryan said he was going to go shopping for my birthday present...he came home and asked me if I want to open my b-day present early. I said, not really. But he told me to go up stairs so he could bring my present in the house. I gave him a bunch of crap, like ' I will just close my eyes or go into the office...do I really need to go upstairs?' So i finally go upstairs because he is getting annoyed at me. When I cam downstairs, Amber and Mason were standing in front of me! I kept hugging her because I could not believe she was really in Chicago! It was the best birthday present! For those of you who know my family, Amber is Ryan's sister...but I love her so much she has moved up status to sister. We had the best time while she was here. We visited about 8 Targets while she was here. It was a total blizzard on my actual birthday but that did not stop us from shopping til we dropped. The twins were thrilled to play with Macey moo for 6 whole days! You can read about it in more detail, here.

We spent way too much time on facebook. We were looking up old boyfriends, grade school friends, and people Ryan used to have crushes on in high school. We also mangaged to lip sync a few songs by MilliVanill and Poison.

We had a party at "pinstripes" with all my friends. We played bocce and chatted all night long. I am not sure if you can see Amber there, because she is hiding!

I needed help blowing out all those candles....it took a few breaths.

I received so many phone calls, gifts, and emails from all my friends and family. I felt completely loved! AND This man is the love of my life. He totally spoiled me on birthday. I constantly tell him that I was not spoiled until I married him. It is all his fault! I love this guy to pieces!

I was sick yesterday -- and I mean REALLY sick. I had the stomach flu which kept me in the bathroom over the toilet for most of the day. I tried not to let the kids see me during one of my many puking episodes. Ethan did happen to walk in the bathroom and say to me...

Ethan: "Are you looking for my poo poo?"

Me: "No"

Ethan: " It already went down the hole."

Me: "Good to know..."

That conversation was the best part of my day...

It was a pain to cut down, I wouldn't really know because Ryan and Trevor were doing the real work. All I know is it was freezing and the hot chocolate and donuts waiting for us at the barn was comforting.

I headed to breakfast with a few friends this morning. It was a great start to the morning; a little chit chat and some yummy food. We were all laughing about how much we love the food at Walker Bros. Pancake House and how we all left with "Walker babies"... you know BIG BELLIES! Now my tummy is all stretch out for Thanksgiving (sigh). With Thanksgiving approaching, I am thankful for so many things.

After I left, I felt so blessed to have so many good friends here in Chicago. I am thankful for my friends who are scattered all over the world!

When I was little, I remember Christmas music did not begin playing on the radio until Thanksgiving Day. However, the kids and I have been listening to it for a week now. I can't believe Christmas music is already on the radio. It is just me, or did it come early this year? I feel bad for Thanksgiving - it is almost forgotten between Halloween and Christmas.

Anyway, I recently heard a Christmas song on the radio that took me back to 1985. I clearly remember one of my sisters lip syncing to it during one of our "star search" re-enactments. I won't mention any names, but you know who you are.

I am giving it up Diet Coke. Yes, you heard me right!

Since drinking it regularly I have pick up a several bad habits. Not only do I drink that liquid Satan everyday, I have to eat it with cookies, ding dongs, and peanut M&M's. I have put on about 5 diet coke pounds. Zero calories my butt! It is truly liquid Satan. That aspartame is really bad for you body too.

From what I have read, that stuff is poison! Apparently the FDA has received more complaints about aspartame than any other ingredient to date. AND when it is paired with carbs, it causes your brain to slow down its production of serotonin. A healthy level of serotonin is needed to be happy and well balanced. According to this book, drinking diet soda can make you fat, sick, and unhappy. You are probablywondering where I go this info. Well, I read about it in this book.

So, if you see me with a Diet Coke, please do not say anything. I am probably having a really bad day and needed to drink some liquid Satan.

I am heading out the door tomorrow at 5:15 am to pick up this gal, and then we are on our way to see Oprah. It is one of her "live" shows, so you will have to tune in tomorrow.

My imagination is running wild. I keep thinking that I am in for a big surprise. Like I am really going to be on her "favorites" show or she wants to give me a makeover, or better yet, makeover my house. Or maybe talk about my famous name... I know I will be lucky if I am seen in the audience! This is my second time attending her show - I know how it goes.

Ethan is probably the most polite boy you know. He says "sorry, please, thank you and your welcome" on every occasion. It is really sweet and he is seriously the sweetest boy in the world. I know, because I have checked ever last inch.

He is such a little joy. He laughs at everything. And he laugh is the best because it is almost like a little growl. I love how he gets really hyper in the evenings. He bounces off the walls and does the goofiest things -- it is so funny to me.

Everyone tells me he looks like Ryan, but I am sure the only thing he gets from me is sweet disposition!

That phrase is accompanied by every tantrum. They happen anytime of the day too. Last night she threw a tantrum at 3 AM. I am not even kidding. She is seriously driving me N-U-T-S!

Boy, do I love her though. I can't wait until the tantrum is over so I can cuddle her and kiss her squishy cheeks. My life is a mom is never a dull moment.

Siena is here!!!!My little niece is made her debut today at 4:00 PM. I am super sad I am not in Utah to cuddle her. I hear she is beautiful and small and perfect. But what else is family suppose to say?

My sister 'aint doing too bad either. I heard rumors she did not even tear (Bravo, L). She will need her strength because two kids is SO much different.

3 is the new 2

I can't remember who said it, but 3 really is the new 2. My kids were a delight from age 2 to 3...but it seems like the last few weeks are filled with tantrums and time outs. For the longest time I thought, "I am so lucky, my kids have not had the terrible twos".

I was hoping I would get to skipped that part. Well, the tantrums have reared their ugly head...and the terrible threes have begun.

We celebrated Holland and Ethan's 3rd Birthday this week.

I have to say, the birthday of Holland and Ethan is truly a special day. It took us years to get pregnant with them. Then, those two little babies tried to come early (22 weeks) which resulted in bed rest for me (3 whole months). Once they arrived they had a month stay at the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit). We had some major ups and downs during that time and it is a miracle they are here with us today. So every 27th of September is a HUGE celebration for our family.

Can the twins really be 3 years old? My friend Mandee once said, "Who pressed fast forward on my life?" It really feels that way.

We planned a little cowboy/cowgirl Hoedown for my little ones. Since Ryan had school on the 27th, we celebrated the day before with all of Holland and Ethan's favorite 3 year olds. The kids woke up to lots of presents, balloons, and treats for their big day.

We made sure to sing "Happy Birthday" to each of them separately. They felt special to be the center of attention. When the day was over and the friends had left we all took a nap. Later that day the kids spent hours playing with their new toys. It was really fun to see them so happy. I hope you had a great day. I love you both so much!

School is SO cool

I realize blogs have been buzzing the last few weeks with photos and posts about first days of school. My children are among the millions who started school this month too. They are both 3 years old (literally on Saturday) and have started their first year of pre-school.

So here is how it went...

Tuesday

9:00-wake-up, eat breakfast, getting dressed, take pictures

9:30- rush off to school...Kids are at school for just an hour because their teacher wanted to ease them into school.

9:30 to 10:30- I run some errands and then rush back to school to pick up my kids.

10:30-Pick up kids. They don't want to leave. I knew they did not need any easing into school. They prefer to paint then hang out with me. Am I already outdated?Oh well. I bribe them with gum to get them to leave with me. Apparently, school is soooo cool.

Thursday

8:00- we get started a little earlier this day because it was a mad rush to get ready on Tuesday. Eat breakfast, talk about how exciting school is, talk about all the kids in school, etc.

9:15- More pix because this is a "real" day, and head off to school. (plus I had to get more pix of their cute new school outfits)

9:30- The twins are running for the door and excitably talking about story time. Ethan trips because he is still getting used to his new shoes. He cries for a minute and then he manages to swallow the tears and head up the stairs to school.

The twins take of their shoes and sit down with Miss Nancy for story time. As I leave, Ethan he turns to me and says "See you later, mommy". It was a bittersweet moment for me and I can still picture his cute smile as he said it. He gave me the 'I am so grown up and so excited to be at school' look.

9:40- As I am walking to my car, a mom whose son goes to the same school approaches me. She wanted to tell me something about Holland and her little boy. Let me back up a little....Her son and my daughter met about 6 months ago during church. They had a little "moment" where they were asking about each other. It took is both by surprise because it was so flirtatious.

So, when Holland went to school for the first day, the same little boy asked about Holland. He said to his mom, "who is that new girl at school...she has a cute face". It was adorable to hear that because I do have to agree, she has the most adorable faces I know. And we may have a little crush happening between the two.

12:00- Pick up twins from school . They finally painted a picture and had stories to tell!

p.s. potty training is still in process. Poor Miss Nancy has had to deal with a couple accidents already.

p.s.s. Ryan started school a few weeks ago. He loves it. I do not have photos...but apparently he looked hot.

Back in Chicago...

The kids and I made it back to Chicago after a long day at SLC airport (flight was delyaed 2 hours). We had quite the welcome too....lots and lots of RAIN! It has not stopped since we arrived. It is just me or does Chicago have the crappiest weather? I think I am heading to the tanning salon this week (doctor approved). It is either fake tanning or prozac...and I prefer a nice sun-kissed glow.

I have lots of pix to share from out trip, but I will get around to that later this week.

Richmond's Addiction

While staying with my family I shared with them the best, most addicting card game: CANASTA.

Our good friends, the Thatchers, introduced the game to us last year. I rememer playing it when I had the flu unitl the early hours of the morning. We would play the game every chance we could get. On the beach, on the train, at restraunts. In the early days of playing Canasta, I would have dreams about it...it was sickening. I pretty much take it wherever I go. It is a true addiction.

So, my family is addicted to it too. All of the adults would stay up late to play it. Which is really not that late. Midnight is pretty early to some people. But is it late when you have to get up with our kiddies in the morning. My parents bought 4 sets of it - just in case they lose the first 3 !?!

So, if you are looking for a fun, easy, portable, game. Try Canasta. You will like it!

August has been crazy, busy.

The Rays are currently holding up in Utah. Our marathon trip started about a few weeks ago. We just can't get enough of the MOTHERLAND! We decided to stick around for a couple more weeks.

Are you curious what we have been doing? Ryan has been on the golf course more than I thought possible. Is it really normal to golf 36 holes in one day...day after day? I get my thrills shopping with my sisters. The twinnies are in heaven - playing non-stop with cousins. I manage to get all my work done too. I am tired just thinking about my busy, long days.

My favorite things about Utah are drive thru ASTRO BURGERS, Smith's Free Playland, Rod Works, Tai Pan, and Citrus Grill. I don't know how I am going to live without them once I leave.

A trip to Utah is not complete without a trip to the doctor (Ethan has another ear infection!), Cafe Rio and our annual family reunion to Homestead.

Don't you worry, more updates and photos to come....I will get around to it.... we are too exhausted to download our photos at the moment.

Olympics 2008

I am really looking forward to the Olympics this year. I love the opening ceremony...it always gives me chills. I especially love the swimming and gymnastics.

I remember attending a parade in L.A. for the 1988 Olympics. In 2002, I attended as many events & concerts as I could get my hands on in Salt Lake City.

I am excited for another winning year...Go U.S.A!

To cut or not to cut...

My little Ethan has the cutest curly-out-of-control blond hair. Ryan has been bugging me all summer to chop it off. I just can't do it. Perhaps he has bad haircut. That cold be the case, because I don't really know how to cut a little boy's hair. Maybe if I took him to a real hair stylist, his hair would not look a little cuter.

Anyway, I don't know what to do.

So, I thought I would throw it out there to all my fellow bloggers.
Should I cut it off?
